Newcomers to the borough during the seventeenth century for whom bonds guaranteeing the town against any future obligation under the Poor Law were entered into by sureties

His sureties were
- Jerome Wingrave of Penn, (father of Thomas).

- Richard Brooker of Wycombe Parish, wheelwright.
