Newcomers to the borough during the seventeenth century for whom bonds guaranteeing the town against any future obligation under the Poor Law were entered into by sureties

1635 Thomas Wingrave, Wife + family, Husbandman
His sureties were
                   - Jerome Wingrave of Penn, (father of Thomas). 
                        - Jerome Wingrave
(junior). 
                        - Richard Brooker
of Wycombe Parish, wheelwright.
