OBITUARY

Mrs. Fred Wingraves passed away at her home here Friday evening, July 13, at 5:30 o'clock, after a long illness. She is survived by the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Ed Minnick and Mrs. Stella Venard, both of this place; one son, Bert, of California; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one half-sister, Mrs. Blanche Davison and a host of friends. Mrs. Wingraves was a life-long Christian, having been a member of the M. E. Church for a number of years. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Walton Item

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Fred Wingraves from the M. E. Church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Fisher. Interment was made in the Walton cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Staggs of Anderson spent Sunday with the former's mother, Mrs. Amanda Staggs, and attended the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Fred Wingraves.

Those who attended the funeral of Mrs. Wingraves from out of town Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Booe, Mrs. Josie Staggs, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Staggs, Mrs. Kate Staggs, Mr. and Mrs. Marve Doran of Kokomo, Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Minnick, Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Cahl, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Minnick, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Crockett, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green of Logansport, and Mr. and Mrs. Alva Staggs of Anderson.
